Mamas who go to school:

I’m struggling with getting the desire to go back to school. I made it through 4 semesters of my masters degree before I got pregnant but haven’t taken a class since.

How do you find the time to do school work without it taking away time from family?

Yep no sleep and a TON of coffee is what got me through my Master's.

You just gotta do it. I've been finishing my MBA during this pregnancy. I am one assignment away from my degree! I took 3 courses last semester and 1 this semester. Before that I hadn't taken a class since I was 26 weeks with my first. Believe me, its worth it.

My work pays for my classes, which is great, but it requires me to only take 1 class a semester so I have 3 full years left! It sounds like so long lol

@price.emil my work paid for mine too except for these last 4. I worked at my University, they had the same rule. You could take more each term but only one was paid

By more school goals do you mean your PhD?

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?

Well it’s official we are doing remote learning in the fall. The school board voted and went along with what the superintendent wanted. I can’t even say I’m upset or mad about it cause I do think it was the right decision and we had a bit of a warning that this was how it was going to go. Even though I’m in a good position, a sahm, and very fortunate I can still say it sucks lol. What about your kids school?
