ADVICE PLEASE !!
Me and my boyfriend have decided to write a will for our daughter. We go away in October without our daughter so want to make sure if anything tragic happens, our daughter will be loved and cared for. My boyfriend wants his mum to be put down as legal guardian but I want my uncle. My reason is because his mum is 60 and is clearly starting to struggle with ageing and my uncle is early 40’s with 2 young children of his own who adore our daughter and I just know my uncle will give our daughter the world as he has always wanted a girl and he is a brilliant dad to his kids. I feel like I don’t have a say and my boyfriend is just telling me what is happening. I have nothing compared to him. He’s got a good job which pays good, house is in his name etc. I basically do evening shifts when I can and look after our daughter in the day. I’m kind of stuck as it’s on my mind but as a mother, so I have more rights if I were to do a private will behind his back? Crazy I know but this is how it is :(

By the sounds of it you need to put your foot down, at the end of the day this isnt just a silly decision this is who would be bringing up your child. You need to tell him how serious you are and make it clear you're not comfortable with her being legal guardian. He might have a good job and pay for the house but he wouldn't be able to do that if you didn't look after her. Bringing up the children is just as valuable as having a job and I think it's harder. I used to work full time before having my son and working was so much easier. Stop letting him making the decisions especially this one xx
@laurengx, you need to have this chat with your OH again telling him you are uncomfortable with that decision. Weigh up the pros and cons for both and tell him you feel strongly about this xx

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
