Off birth control after it made me feel bipolar — what pill has the fewest side effects?
So I’m currently not on any birth control. I was but it was making me feel bi polar so I got off of it. But now that I’m having sex more regulArly I should be on something because neither of us really want any more kids. I’m really not keen on going back on the pill just because it messed with my hormones so bad. So I’m just wondering what pill you ladies ha e had the best experience with, with the least amount of side effects.
Also any ladies taking seasonal? Any your experiences with that. Thank you!!

@flamingomom, ugh this is hard! If I didn’t have such a hard time with these birth controls last year I would have no problem going back on one but it seriously made me feel crazy! I was so high and low all the time And I couldn’t do it anymore. Then my doctor suggested seasonal because I also have a illness correlated to my period that they don’t know what it is. But I never tried it cause I had such a bad experience with these other pills. :/ but I don’t want to get pregnant, so I have to get on something.

I can understand the fear. I’m not familiar with the seasonal birth control. Honestly I think people are more likely to publicize their experience if it was negative so that’s why you hear more horror stories about the iud than positive. But it’s guaranteed any birth control you ask about someone will tell you they hated it.

I've been using paragard. It's non hormonal. I'm on my second one, first came out to conceive. I haven't had any issues either time. I nursed until my son was 14 months, first period pp was about 10 months but not again until 16 months. They have been regular ever since, basically back to what they were pre pregnancy.

I have the paragard IUD as well. I was iffy on it at first but after speaking with my doctor I felt good about getting it. No side effects & I like that it’s hormone-free.

Is it like getting a pap to have It inserted?
