I don't think so. I'm overprotective & I'm not ashamed of it. I think being overprotective is just wanting your child to be safe at all times & imo that's not wrong it's just mom life. With time I think I'll ease up but rn it's in full force 🤷🏾♀️
We had a debate about kids not having manners and other kids hitting each other too I don’t like kids like that . Also they were like you have to let her play and live whatever I’m like yes that’s fine but my rules I am her mother idc what they say . I said I am her teacher first thing so when she’s alone that’s my reflection out there
oh no I feel you 100 percent. I don't like when children are around my child & dont exhibit manners or hit or snatch things. Thats a no in my book but I know at a certain point he's not guna have me there (day care, school etc.) So I just instill manners & good behaviour for him so when he's around children that act like that he will uphold the values that I raised him to have instead of bringing home those bad habits
omg yes!!!! Well they think I’m too mean . My parenting skills are too strict. No I just want the best for my child . Nobody’s perfect but as llong as I’m breathing I would the best I can to raise her .

Having the word "over" as a prefix to the word "protective" would imply that yes it's too much...
However, I believe you will need to give a specific example as to what exactly might be viewed as "too much".
