Why do strangers automatically assume my kids have different dads? And have the nerve to act surprised bc we’re still together. It’s sad & aggravating.

When i mentioned i have four kids the firsts question they ask is “are they from the same father” i reply that its none of their business and that its not a question to ask
Yes all my kids have the same father but i know alot of people who their kids don’t and i find it insulting for them cause they always get the weird look after when they say no
I feel this in my soul.. Especially older ladies Everytime we're out some old hag has some stupid ass questions about my kids, my age and if they have the same dad🙄😒
They'd rather be judgmental and assume the latter.
I had to report a midwife I had when I was pregnant with my youngest, she had the most judgemental look on her face when I said my kids had different dad's. Like oh excuse me for leaving an abusive relationship and growing my family with a man I loved.
@mychemicalshaymance, @mommyoffour., @travis9347, I don’t know why anyone would think it’s their business to know anyways. Why does it even matter? Idc if someone has 7 kids and they all have different dads.
I havent been personally asked, but my husband has by his co workers and he was shocked how shocked they were when he said, their all with the same women, my wife!
My hubby too was asked at work last month when he said he as all his 4 kids with me the second question was really are u still with the mother like wtf why ask those question what will it bring u at the end of the day 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
everybody is sooo surprised when i say that me an my hubs are still together & both of my kids are his . they look just like him an i still get asked ‘ omg are they his ? ‘ .. annoying as ever
or when i say my age they just look at me crazy because i have two kids 😹🤷🏼♀️
@momma.xx4, the last time someone said something about me being 24 with 2 kids my best friend told her to let me pop my pussy in peace 😂 I was so embarrassed 😂
thats okaay girl 🤣 im 19 with 2 kids & my husband told a lady ‘ sense your so worried ill beat that pussy harder for you tonight ‘
I think its because a "family" is not the norm anymore, "being single, don't need a man, etc" anything anti-family gets advertised more than pro-family does. So its a shock to a lot of the older generation.
People ask me that all the time. & because two of my children don't share the same skin tone as me and their dad, they are even more shocked and sometimes doubt they are his. And all 4 of mine do have the same father and we've been married for almost 5 years now.
I understand both sides of the spectrum, but still it does not give people the right to pre-judge and pry into one's business that hasn't been offered to them. It is irritating and I usually tell people that sensitive of a topic is for people I know.
Very true I just still don’t know why people feel the need to ask a stranger something like that. I wanna ask them if they would also like to know what color panties I have on since they wanna know so much. Then to act shocked.. I honestly thought it was bc I’m black but clearly not since the ladies above have been questioned too.
partially i do believe have to do with race because the exposer of young single black moms are advertised especially on ads, commercials & etc. Wayyy more than black families. They are ignored, so in return people who aren't black see us with our kids or whatever and automatically assume we got a bunch of baby daddies and none are in the picture, just like we are advertised as aggressive, mean, loud, disrespectful, etc. So with us it's an automatic assumption.
And nowadays the single mom is on a rise in all races so now anytime a woman is out with her kids by herself she's automatically assumed to be a single mom.
But still, people need to keep their noses in their own cup of tea and quit prying in other ppl business. Its insentive, and bogus as hell.
When I went to get a bank account a few years ago, i had my older two and was pregnant with my third.
The lady legit asked if their Daddies was in their life & asked if I was married to one of their dads (Simply because different skin tone)
And I told her she was rude for assuming they have different fathers, & I'm here to open a bank account not talking about my personal life.
I would’ve told her boss. That’s too much & I hate that she even had the nerve to think that was okay.
My husband is black and i am white. Our son is light skinned. Whenever we have one of our nephews and go out to eat waitresses always bring us two checks. It's annoying.
Really? How do they split it? & I’m sorry you had to go thru that ignorant shit
