you never get over it. i had a miscarriage from dec 27th to jan 4th. jan 4th is my birthday. i would have been due aug 16th. im almost 27 weeks pregnant with this baby and am so happy and grateful for her but this child doesnt replace that one. i still thonk of that baby and i cry at songs and certain movie and tv parts that talk about miscarriage.

I feel as if other loss has made it so my miscarriages feel more ‘muted’ if that makes sense? So while they were annoying at the time as more time goes past and I conceived my rainbow babies it made it easier to not think about them hardly at all. You never truly forget and everyone thinks of them differently but I definitely feel ‘over’ the two I had. Maybe if I had heard heartbeats it would have been different but due to my type of miscarriages I suppose that made it easier in some ways too. But just give yourself time and I feel eventually they are easier to kinda ‘get over’.

It will be 6 years in August since my last miscarriage. It still hurts at times, and that baby stills pops into my head frequently.

You never forget them. Every time you look at your child you think of what kind of person they would be. It does suck but we will hold them again one day. It doesn't matter how far along you were, they were still part of you and always will be
