Do any of you leave your kids bedroom doors open when the sleep? Like a 2 year old?
@mamamegan I have no advice for that I'm terrified to transition mine into a toddler bed for that very reason. He'll be in the crib as long as I can keep him there. Lol
@jessicalaneee, I feel you girl!! The second I saw her feet in the air I was like nope 👎🏽 fuck that shit 😂🤷🏽♀️
@mamamegan mines only just now standing in his crib so I'm hoping I have awhile left lol
I’m in a townhouse two story. We have two bathrooms upstairs & one downstairs. Living room downstairs.
We have an open door policy. All doors are open....
Unless mommy and daddy are having adult time 🤷😂
@mamamegan
Oh yeah she's fine. By that point we realized it's actually safer if we took down the gate. She can't unlock doors, even when awake. When she does we will get chain locks for the doors that lead outside
Is your living room on the same level? Or a bathroom? I’m concerned that all the noises will keep her up or wake her up.
Mine are still in the room with me, but I want to keep their doors open when they move into their own room. At least until a certain age where they want privacy
@mamamegan, yeah we live in a one story. So their rooms and ours is all together. I think when they were babies I would close their door during nap but I had a monitor in there. As they got older there door stayed open during nap.
No, my husband use to be a volunteer firefighter and it's significantly safer if there was a fire for the door to be closed.
@mamamegan yes I do but we continued to use a baby monitor until our youngest was 5 so we could hear her because she still has night terrors sometimes.
They have no door they ripped it off 🤣 but my whole house has like 10 gates.
@westsidemomma, I guess I’m concerned she’ll hear the tv n such? Or the bathroom noises? 🤷🏽♀️😂
My 2 year old just started asking for his door to be open so it's open now. My 4 year olds has been open since he was 2 as well
