If all he wants is milk you don't give him that option. You give him water until he drinks it. That can cause dehydration. That's really dangerous girl.

@mommy1991 it's funny because you're being so dramatic. I never said a child would let themselves die and it's not so cut and dry, it's not that or have my child sent to the hospital.
A child being dehydrated can be super dangerous. Water is so important. And the longer you wait to introduce it the harder it's gonna be. It can affect other things as well. His urine output. His bowl movements. It can cause headaches and you wouldn't know because he can't tell you that. It's important for his overall health. And if you give him flavoured water or just juice he won't get used to plain water. Which he should. I'm not saying never give him those but he should start on regular water and add fun stuff in after. If you gave him a bottle or sippy cup or whatever he drinks out of full of water and refused him milk during the day he might surprise you. You're acting like you're the only person with a difficult baby but I had a hard time with willow with a lot of things. I still am. And sometimes letting them cry and get over it can help. This is just the beginning of a long string of things that he's gonna give you the finger over. You're the mom and you decide. And he'll get past the water thing but you have to be firm on it too.

He's over a year. He needs to start drinking water. You should be giving him a sippy cup during the day. And maybe its food
