Third trimester morning sickness..... 😔😔
Third trimester morning sickness..... 😔😔
The sooner i get to my due date, the mkre anxious i become. I have an ultrasound nest Thursday, another doctor appointment and im going to my hospital that im going to give birth in tontalk to the epidural consultant. About different pain meds i can take and why i had such a bad reaction the last time. Scared ne right out of getting one but yet i am terrified of the pain without it. How do you moms that have had a natural birth get the courage to even consider it..... Ive been thinking about it but im so scared of the pain

Also, I always remind myself that the pain is only going to last but for so long. There’s a big reward at the end. I hate pregnancy, I wish I could skip it and just birth my baby. I’d take labor and delivery any day.

It’s definitely mind over matter. I had my son without any pain meds, I had pitocin to speed up my labor and man when I tell you those contractions were no joke. I had my daughter without any pain medicine and hers was a lot better since I didn’t need pitocin. I learned with my 1st that laying on your back is not beneficial. It makes it worse. I sat up until it was time to push. Breath through them, talk yourself through. You can do it. And by the time it’s time to push, you’re so ready to have the baby out, you don’t really think about the pain. What I like with not having an epidural is being able to get up and move right after I give birth. I literally got up, went to the bathroom, cleaned up and put my clothes on. When it was time to transfer to my room I walked and pushed my daughter. I plan to have this one all natural also.

To go natural is all mindset. Once you feel like you can’t do it anymore it’s time to push. Pushing feels like a great relief. Breathe during contractions and focus on something. A picture, the sink, your toes. Anything you choose. When the contractions start take a deep breath in and let it out slowly. I had an epidural 1st. And 3 naturals after. My last birth was awful. I asked for an epidural. They checked me and I was at an 8. So I said f it. I made it this far might as well finish without it. You can do it if you put your mind to it.

takes the edge away but you can feel the contractions. They just aren’t unbearable.

I am in the same boat. Super anxious. My doctor keeps sending to do ultrasounds and I'm like what's the point I am 38 weeks pregnant let just get this baby out.
I want to do a natural birth but I am super scared myself. I want to avoid the epidural as well because the effects to the baby but idk if I can do it.

Well get the epidural because it does not ware off at all until the day that you go home
