Is it normal that Harrison doesn’t really eat finger foods that much? I’ve always done a mixture of purées and finger food but to be honest he just plays with finger foods and doesn’t really eat them. He LOVES purées and eats loads of puréed foods. He still doesn’t have teeth yet. Could that be why he won’t eat finger food? He’s 8 and a half months and still no sign of teeth😕 Is that normal too?

It's normal. He's just exploring all the new textures and tastes. 😊 keep offering though he will eventually eat them.

Thank you I will keep giving him things. He will eat things like biscuits and melty sticks but other than that he’s not really interested right now xx

Adam was late for his teeth he got his first just after his first birthday I also was 2 when I got my first tooth so totally normal it's actually better I didn't loose my last one till 16 bcos I had to have a brave fitted so it's much better 😂 just keep doing what your doing with the foods he's properly a typical lazy boy like mine who would prefer mummy to feed him 😂 offer him a spoon aswel as you if u don't do that already he may not like to have his hands dirty. Ive never liked eating without a fork it goes through me. 🤔 Xx

Yeah he doesn’t seem to like getting his hands wet. He hates when I clean his hands with wipes🙄 I sometimes give him the spoon but more often than not it ends up in his eye then a meltdown about it😂😂

Haha yeah 😂 I end up using all the spoons we've got cos he just gets angry and lashes them! 🙈 Oh god no it's world war 3 just to wipe Adams hands 😂 xx

Cooper is the same. No sign of teeth at the moment and he has mostly blended food . 👍🏻 they will get there in time x

Oh that’s good to know. I think it must be something to do with having no teeth yet then? Maybe once they get teeth they might become more interested xx

Anyone else’s 1 year old still drink formula? My son still drinks about 32 ounces a day. He eats food 3 times a day but doesn’t eat very much at all and is very limited to what he can eat. He will eat Cheerios, bananas cut in small pieces, sweet potatoes in small pieces, broccoli in small pieces. He doesn’t eat very much at a time. For example for breakfast he will eat half of a banana or half of an avocado and that is it. He will eat Gerber stage 3 foods and will eat the whole 5oz jar for the most part. Anyone else in the same boat or have suggestions to get him to eat more.
