From the time your contractions started ,how long was it till you decided it was time to head to hospital? And what if your 3 centimeters dilated already!
Yeah but still from the time my water broke till I was contracting strong and close was only 45 mins but it was my third and goes a lot faster each time lol
I was 3cm for a couple weeks and went into full blown labor at exactly 36 weeks when my water broke and then I waited awhile for contractions to pick up like 3 or 4 mins apart and had him about a hour half after I got there .
@alisha_byers, lol that was my third and I did not want to be sitting in the hospital uncomfortable because I don’t get the epidural so I wait it out at home as long as I can.
I'm 3 1/2cm mine were 10 mins apart but not close enough. At least between 5-7 mins apart for at least an hr just go in
Soon as she put me on the monitor lol I said she must know it's her eviction time and she's not ready just yet😂
Once they were 5 minutes apart consistently. I live 40 min from the hospital we used.
@alisha_byers my first pregnancy I called the hospital and they told me just what I wrote here. (My second pregnancy I just went in). Both times I called when I was on my way in so they knew I was coming.
Oh, and living that far away, don't forget to take traffic into account! If its nearing rush hour, leave a little earlier.
@leowifey that's something I did not think about, good point
Its recommended at least 5 minutes apart

Preggies,
We're working on a blog post about what it means to be a mom, and we want your opinion. What would you add to this statement?
You know you're a mom when...

When’s the best time to start your hospital bag?

@broganmothertobe your time is up ya trollop
I am so sick of...
people saying "enjoy your quiet time now", or "get your sleep while you can".
I went a couple times and was sent home. Then my water broke 😂. I was 3cm for a long time. Worst thing they can do is send you home or have you walk for an hour to see if you progress. It sucked going home those few times, but if you feel you need to go in, I still say go in.
