I called to get my medical records from my old dr they said it be 1$ a copy and I have like200 pages 🙄 umm hell no lol so ima have my dr call back for me and demand them all be sent to him.
Why don’t you just sign a release and your current doctor can request them.? I moved states when I was pregnant and moved doctors 3 times and never had to pay for anything I just signed a release and they faxed my records to the next doctor.
That’s what I’m gonna do I’m gonna call my dr tomorrow and have him request my records and I’ll sign the release
@westsidemomma, yeah they shouldn’t charge you if you sign the release and they won’t have any choice but to send them to your new doctor. I’m so thankful my first ob was amazing and told me to sign the release before I moved
@westsidemomma was it the surgeon who had diagnosed the problem?
@mommy-xl, no the endocrinologist but he should have tested other hormone glands before telling me I needed surgery. If I don’t test positive for Graves then it was this adrenaline gland causing the problems and I’ll need another surgery. So the thyroid removal wasn’t needed at all!!
@westsidemomma thats what im saying. Who ever didnt run the appropriate tests should be sued. Sad. One of my friends had to have a hysterectomy bc of lazy doctors. She was sooo young and had only had 1 baby.
Have u ever had discharge look like cottage cheese ? or do i need to call my dr
Failed...
I have GD!!! Nooooooo! ? It wasn't even a close call. Dr is skipping the 3 hour test, putting me on a strict diet and I have to check my blood sugar 4x a day.

Called dr office. Even though i have a csection in 3 days i dont know if i should be concerned about significant swelling in my legs and they are turning purple and my feet blood red, when i sit and stand.
Anyone have preterm labor? I got this unbearable pain in my back, worse that normal and I have had horrible back pain this whole pregnancy...then I started getting cramps super low in my abdomen...they felt constant but I was in so much pain they I didn't time them or anything. I was crying so bad it hurt. And I have a lot of pressure on my vagaga...does this sound like preterm labor? I'm about to call my dr
Does your hospital system have a MyChart set up? I don’t know if this is a nationwide system or local to me, but I go back and forth between two different Heath care systems and they’re both connected to MyChart. Maybe you could ask your old doctor if theyre set up for electronic files so you can see your previous test results rather than buying your medical record itself.
