So I’m freaking out a bit.. this is my first baby and honestly I’m scared to death about labor and everything. I don’t know how to tell when I’m going into labor, and I live 1 1/2 hrs away from my hospital, Im also afraid I’m not gonna do good during labor and I’m scared to be a first time mom.. it’s what I’ve always wanted and I have 19 nieces and nephews so I’m not new to babies it’s just the fact it’s my baby now. I don’t wanna fail

It really helped me to read and highlight laboring section from What to Expect When You’re Expecting but that was w my second child. I was petrified w my first but I also opted out of labor classes so I did it to myself. The more you can read up on how to handle contractions, I think you have a better chance of reminding yourself of what to do when you’re in actual labor. I was so afraid I wouldn’t know if I was having true contractions but you will def know!
