I'd contact the court you go through. They can better answer the question. I believe it varies by state regarding how far.

@scrub.life.mom no problem! I'd also check your paperwork and see if you're supposed to stay in one geographical location. In that case you would also need to get permission from the courts.

Here for my husband he or she can move within 50 miles of the county the case is in. As long as they both had no problems getting to their meeting place to exchange the child for visits.

I would talk to him and see what he thinks about it and if y’all can work it out than sweet but I would contact the court and see what you have to do seeing your staying in the same state it shouldn’t be a problem but better to call them and ask than to get in trouble.
Nick and his ex never went through the courts and she moved out of states and we allowed it because it was still a 15 minute drive lol and we have moved around a lot but it’s always been the same state
