Clarification is needed.
If they just didn't say anything or didn't go into full details I wouldn't consider it a lie.
If they did answer it but didn't say anything truthful I'd consider it a lie.
In all actuality people don't have to tell you anything.
I mean that is kinda the definition of a lie. Maybe it wasn’t an intentional lie but one that’s truth isn’t your business.
Just bc we ask someone something doesn’t mean they need to give us the truth. It depends on your relationship w the person

@loving_the_mommy_life, I don’t understand why YOU don’t know if it was a lie. If it was not the truth, it was a lie. I was asking if maybe they didn’t tell you everything, but maybe some of it, and that’s why you couldn’t decide if it was a lie. 🤔
