What are some ways to make money from home that aren't pyramid schemes?(it works, sentsy, younique.) I'm just looking to find a way to make a little extra money for fun on the weekends and to save up easier for trips and things with the kids honestly. Maybe also to save up to adopt a kitten too, Henry's been asking for a pet and it's between a chameleon and a kitten. Ive had experience with lizards and cats so we can handle either one it's just a matter of picking one and saving for it separately from our regular savings account. Ive been playing with the idea of making very specific headbands and little bows on Etsy and possibly cute mugs(I'm a mug collector, they're one of my favorite things and I can never find bows in a style I like that don't cost a ton) Anyone know the process of starting an Etsy shop? I know the starting materials will cost a decent chunk of change so it's not instant cash until you start selling regularly. How does it work with taxes as well? Thanks in advance! I'd get a part time job but my man works 6 days a week 10am-7pm and I breastfeed. Weekends are family time with his family(the kids grandparents, aunts and cousins) so we'd rather not miss out on that just so I can work for MAYBE 16 hours a week. I can't work nights either because my man needs the sleep and Violet eats every two hours at night and he DOESN'T wake up for her crying in the first place so it just wouldn't work for us, and working any more than that and getting a daycare is too expensive, I'd basically be working to pay daycare costs essentially which doesn't make any sense. Violets also too little to be in daycare and me be comfortable with it, especially with all the sketchy daycare practices Ive seen on the news, it's just more cost effective to be a stay at home mom for right now.

We live in a small apartment on the second floor of an apartment building, so I'm not entirely sure how that would work out? There's a large flight of steep stairs, so it's decently inconvenient to get up to the apartment, and there's not really any outdoor space for activities (assuming the kids in question were old enough, there is a playground in the complex but we'd need to cross two streets that run through the complex into a residential neighborhood behind the complex) I worry about Violet too with being too young for vaccinations, I'm not sure I can legally request vaccination records of children I'd be caring for unless I have a legitimate childcare business license, and I don't want to put her at risk if someone lies and says their kids are up to date and aren't, if that makes sense. I'm not closed off to the idea though, obviously I have childcare experience, it's just the other concerns that pop up.

maybe a baby her age would be better then? And any sane parent would vaccinate and have no issue obtaining a copy of those records

Honestly the only legit work from home jobs would be like babysitter dog walker selling things from home being some kinda influencer. My job Conduent has work from home positions if there’s no location close to you idk how you would do training but you can take calls from home.

I work from home but it's full time and its 40+ hours a week. The only companies I know that are legit are full time positions.

I do postmates and rover. My family knows I am not working for awhile so they also recommend me to people looking for house sitting, pet care, cleaning. The next 2 weekends I am doing drop in visits to take care of dogs and cats. Then on the nights my mom or sister can watch my daughter I do postmates. My brother is getting divorced and they’re paying me $500 to get the house ready for sale. I can just go clean when I don’t have a babysitter since I can take her with me. I do all of these while my husband works so we don’t miss out on time as a family. To save money I make grocery lists between 2-3 stores and put what I need on the list for whatever store has it cheapest. On top of that use coupons.
