White here🤝 I do stand up and say I've used coke and BBQ sauce and dr Pepper and bbq sauce marinated on pork chops and chicken before in crock pot it's so goooooood . Don't freak out, bad choice of words she used but it's cool it's all love not hate here

Omg it never ends w some people & the stupid shiy they say. I'm white and Mexican German polish and Mexican to be exact! And I have never cooked. W soda!! But my black husband has! Js. Its not race its how different people like to cook!!!! Has not 1 thing to do w color

This is how I make my BBQ pulled pork. Doesn't have to be Dr pepper. Any dark soda works. The only difference is I add a packet of dry onion soup on top of meat before I add BBQ and soda.

PS BBQ is the ONLY time I use soda for my meat and I'm white over here 👋

I've never seen someone add soda to ribs. I use beer lol, last time I didn't realize the only beer we had was not your dad's root beer or something like that and it was so yummy!
