How do you potty train a almost 2 year old boy? He likes to take his diaper and clothes off but has not yet found his privates. Do I wait a little longer then? My daughter was almost potty trained by now but she was easy. She had dry diapers at night since she was one so she never had a accident overnight and I have never potty trained a boy. My husband potty trained my oldest before I was even in the picture. Any advice???

He may need a little more time and just wants to be naked lol. But do the same as you did with your daughter. There really isn't much difference at first besides teaching them to point it down if they need to while sitting. I trained both my boys sitting first and a few months later they started standing. My toddler now sometimes stands (saw his brother and started doing it) but he can hardly reach lol.
