You guys...first world problem. My parents own a rice cooker so I always just used that to make rice I’ve never made it on the stove. So now I don’t have a rice cooker to cook my damn rice and my parents are at work and unable to help me 😂😂 how tf do I make rice in the stove? Like do I just let it boil until the water is gone? Do I turn it off after it boils and let it sit? Do I turn it down after it boils? Wtf do I do?! Help 😂😭

@mommiesgoneabitmad, it’s normal thing for us to use chicken broth instead of water especially if we have no soy sauce and I don’t but I forgot and used water 😭😭

I just moved so my mom just threw a few cups of rice into a zip lock bag and gave it to me. No instructions 😭

What I do is get 1 cup of rice, fry it with olive oil and some onions (optional) then i get 2 cups of water or chicken broth whatever you’d like then add seasoning to it, let it come to a boil then turn it to low, let it sit until the rice has absorbed the water and it should be done. Just cover the rice and let it sit.. also I shake my pan once in a while to make sure no rice gets stuck at the bottom of the pan

Not sure. I have only used pots to make rice. 1 cup of rice to 2 cup water ratio is my go to but I do however eyeball it because I have made rice most of my life.

2 cups water, 1 cup rice. Boil until water is almost gone and then put on low for 20 mins. Add a little salt and little bit of olive oil so it doesn’t stick. It comes out perfect every time. It’s the only thing I never fuck up. Lol.
