so we booked a cabana that fits 10 people. I’m going to try to sneak in sandwiches, because even though they have a cafe and a bar, I’m not seeing any vegetarian options (besides fries) on their menu. And 80% of us going don’t eat meat. So I figure since we will be hidden in the cabana, I can sneak some in.
We are doing a party for her at the house, but for the actual Waterpark I’m just gonna hang a “happy birthday” banner across our cabana and make an Instagram filter. Nothing crazy.
I think it depends on how many people you have coming. We have 9, but only 3 are kids. So, even though they offer bday party packages, it didn’t makes sense for us to book a birthday package, since the packages really only catered to multiple children. But from what I saw, the birthday packages included sodas and pizzas.
I don’t know about raging waters, but The birthday packages here at wild island we’re like $250, where as booking a cabana was only $170. So it just made sense to do the cheaper option, considering we didn’t have that many children coming.
@gris0723, I just talked to a friend who had a bday party for her little at Raging Waters! She said it was like $45.00 for the Deluxe Birthday Package, and that included a gift, pizza, soda, and cake for just the birthday kid. A reserved table to celebrate also, and she just ordered more pizzas & brought cupcakes for the other kids. She said she brought in gift bags for the kids and decorate the table. Then all the kids who came, she just sent our invitations asking instead of bringing gifts, that their joining was gift enough - that way everyone just bought their own way in.
