When y’all take maternity leave?

When I had my kiddo.

Yeah i was thinking about doing mines at 35 weeks or a bit sooner this my first child so I’m nervous

-My first I took it at 38 weeks, I was scheduled to be induced at 39, so 1 week early

-My second I took it at 36 weeks, and my water broke (& had baby of course) at exactly 39 weeks, so 3 weeks early (even though I thought I would have 4).

I was in a lot of pain and very uncomfortable at the end with both. My first pregnancy, I wish I would have given myself more time. My second, it was perfect- I really needed that time, especially to bond with my first.

If pregnant again, I would do 36 weeks again hands down. If it was my first though and I had no other kids to take care of at home, maybe 37 weeks.

Working till I go into labor

Bedrest started at 35 weeks.

39 weeks

At 34 weeks and it was perfect timing.

I worked up until my induction.

38 weeks

When I delivered.

I had 4weeks left.
