😂😂😂😂 so... I've just asked Noah's "dad" why he hasn't bothered providing for his child and his excuse was "I'm giving all the money I'd be sending to Noah to my mum so that it doesn't get spent".....
Seriously where is the logic in this??? What use is that money to Noah when I'm not even aloud it to spend it on him???
🙄🙄🙄
I haven't been begging money from him, as I've said previously he uses money to try and control me so I don't want it x
The whole point of Child Maintenance payments is to help towards maintaining a child. The money can go towards anything that benefits the child like nappies, milk, clothes, even your electricity and heating bills! Setting up a savings account is not maintaining a child. That’s providing for a future which is a whole separate matter. The money has to be given to the resident parent.
Your contridicting yourself here said you want the money for nappies milk and clothes. Then saying you dont want his money...
Why not just go through csa and keep contact at your say and if doesnt see him then his loss x
I'm not contradicting myself I just haven't explained it properly
He sent me a message asking if he can see him the weekend, I said to him it'd have to wait till I have money so I'll meet him Thursday and he replied saying "I'll pay" but he doesn't send money for Noah unless it benefits him, he's an abusive man (in an emotional kind of way) and uses money as a control mechanism, so I said to him that I'm not accepting his money as he never bothers to pay for Noah and I've managed without him this whole time
He never even bothered to come and help when I was in hospital for four days and had Noah with me, I had to self discharge in the end because Noah ran out of milk and he refused to bring him any, clothes too
He's had chance after chance to show he can be a father but every time he's failed so I'm not going through csa because I'd rather do it on my own so he can't use the money he gives as a control method x
@kelseysym @erincharlieconor I am allowing contact but on my terms
I don't want to go through csa, I wasn't asking him for money I was just making a point because he only sends money when it benefits him, he uses it as a form of control so I don't want his money
Even if he is putting it away he's still using it as a form of control because he's making an account for Noah bit won't give me the details so it'll basically be "he can have his money if you let me see him" xx
@erincharlieconor he doesn't buy him anything, he'd rather save the money, he's not allowed to come to me, I go to him xx
@erincharlieconor yeah but it's okay, I'm used to it, I've coped quite well without him so far xx
@firsttimemummy86 That's exactly what I said, @kelseysym he said he's putting it into an account in the future so Noah know he provided for him... I said he needs milk, nappies and clothes now not the future ... How can he say he's providing for him if he's not allowing me to use the money for him 🙄🙄🙄
Do you allow contact? My partner was going to do that for his other child but it's only cause she refuses contact for a number of stupid reasons otherwise she'd be getting the money. If you dont that's really stupid of him 🤦♀️ hopefully he is actually putting it away! X
Wow shocking. Does he actually give her the money? Even so he should be paying for his childs day to day living.
Did he say why he was giving it to her instead of you? Xx
Sure he didn't send a pound to her! Trying to run of responsibilities uuuf...
Ok Noah is stable right now! Everything looks good so far! They want to close his chest up tomorrow

I'm so scared y'all🙄
She's gonna close mom life😂
Why can't people just let others parent how they want to? I'm so over seeing people attack moms who choose not to vaccinate 🙄🙄🙄

When you’re married you become one, including financially. His money is her money and her money is his money so there shouldn’t be no asking on either sides unless it’s a big purchase that needs to be agreed on first.

Noah finally made his arrival! I'm so blessed!!!
Honestly if you need the money that much I would just go through csa it's alot easier you'll get weekly payments no asking for money or waiting for him to pay, they'll calculate how much you get and just take it directly from his wages simple. Then neither of you can complain about it no more no less you shouldn't be stressing about stuff like that with a 2month old baby concentrate on Noah not having to beg money of his dad xx
