I gave him ibuprofen and he's napping. Should i bathe him when he wakes to try and lower it?

I’d take him in to the Er to get checked never know what it could be my son was running a fever a while back of 101.6 and he ended up with a double ear Infection

I wouldn’t be taking my child to the ER for that temp. Even if it drops .5 degrees that is significant. I would bathe him yes to drop the fever if it’s tolerable for him but more importantly keep him hydrated. How’s his behavior? That’s the real question.

He's himself actually, just fussy if i put him down because he wants to be cuddled

Probably should take him to the ER and if its 102.9 without the adding the degree then he needs to go to the ER.

I probably should have mentioned this but I checked his temperature right when we got inside from going to the store walking and it's pretty hot here in Texas but I just checked it right now after his nap and Medicine and it was 100.3
