yes, it is a puppy and especially a Lab thing. They are always trying to have something in their mouths to "retrieve". They are a high energy dog, too.

awww lol my dog does the same thing and I just tell her no and to lay down, but she’s also bigger than little pup here. I’m sure he’s just playing and has tons of energy. Put him in the backyard or someplace closed off and have him just run! He’s definitely a cutie tho
