You can stretch a babies belly out from overfeeding and upset their stomach. I wouldn't do more than 3-4 oz at a time. Does he take a paci? Sometimes they just want to suck for comfort and not food.
Yea he takes a paci ...i only been feeding him 3 oz every 2-3hrs
@autumnrenea1990 maybe a growth spurt, you could try a extra oz if it's really not settling him and he doesn't want the paci.
I would feed him as much as he can eat. When my 12 yr ild sin was 2 days old, he ate like 4 oz. I know that seems alot, but the nurse said, if he wants its ok to give him that much

I am a HUGE breastfeeding advocate. No, I will NOT shame you if you decide to formula feed, and will not tolerate anyone else doing so on my post. Everyone has their own reasons on why they feed their child the way they see fit.
