Woke up sick as hell.
Called Doctors on Demand because I’m pretty sure it’s Strep.
This is going to be a long day. All I want to do is sleep, but instead I have to take care of two kids, while trying not to also get them sick. Andddd, I have family coming into town to visit tonight for my husband birthday.
Someone send help. 😵

Ohhhh noooo!!! How would you have gotten strep?? Maybe the kiddos will want to take an early (and long) nap today so you can relax!

I’m not sure. Faye has had a cough, and I got that, but then when I thought I was getting better, BAM. I’m super prone to throat issues though. I’ve had mono 3 times - two of which I was legit hospitalized-, and strep probably 20 times in my life. No exaggeration. I got my tonsils removed when I was 14, but they didn’t get all the tissue and one grew back! They said it can’t happen, but apparently it happens more often then you’d think. I definitely feel like I do when I had strep. I called doctors on demand and he prescribed be a steroid, since I’m allergic to amoxicillin. But, on Monday (Stevens day off) I’m going to go into urgent care and get a swab done, just to make sure.

oh shit, that sounds terrible!!! Also, I didn’t know tonsils could grow back! I was supposed to have mine removed around the time I was 15 because I had chronic tonsillitis but I guess I got better? Lol, but that’s such a trip! I hope you don’t have strep though! Sucks you have to wait until Monday to know for sure though. 👎🏼

ugh, I'm so sorry! I know how it feels, I had no help last week, I'm still sick too. it was me and both kids sick and no one to help me get through the days...I just pushed tgrough. thought mine was strep too, it was awful. we just all had an upper respiratory viral infection at 1st, lynnies turned into an ear infection, mine turned to laryngitis. I ended up getting a Z pack called in for me 3 days ago because I was coughing up green mucus. I'm feeling a bit better now, still not completely well. praying you get over it soon!!!!

@jennatess I'm doing a lot better after I started the antibiotics. I was able to celebrate 4th of July & both kids are doing better. still snotty a little but they haven't ran fever I'm 3 or 4 days! maybe it'll help some. I hope your able to get everything u need done today♡

@lifewithlynnieandwill88, I’m glad you’re feeling better! 🙌🏼 . I’m literally Lysol’ing my entire house, washing my sheets twice in extra hot water, and wearing medical masks all to try and keep the babies from getting sick. 😂. They should cast me on Greys Anatomy 😂
