My husband is pissing me off and I feel like I hate him. Our baby is 3 months and I still have to tell him to check her diaper ev-ver-y time he is holding her for a few minutes so I can cook or clean. He doesn’t put enough effort into her and barely spends time with her. He constantly says ,”you’re better at it”, or “I’m just not good at it”, anytime I ask him to change her clothes or do tummy time with her. I don’t get any time for myself. I guess it’s solely my job to take care of our baby while he does whatever he wants. I feel like he is so incompetent, selfish and inconsiderate! Uggghh!
@madgypsy04 speak up! Let him know look honey I need you for this and that. The gym can definitely wait. I mean if he gets time at the gym then you should get time to. I'm telling you girl take turns. You both have a part no exceptions. Let his butt know. Don't allow that behavior. I mean truthfully he should be doing whatever it takes to help out all on his own in the first place but because he's trying to run from the responsibility slow him down by setting up a system that consistently includes him. He'll get the picture. Make it a bonding experience.
@riasm85, oh trust me I tell him exactly how I feel on the daily but it’s like he doesn’t even care, although he says he does but his words don’t mean jack to me because he doesn’t show me anything. Doesn’t matter what I say, nothing changes. I’m so depressed. My little girl is all that keeps me going. I love her so much and would do anything for her.
@madgypsy04 I completely understand love. I'm sorry his mindset is just not there to do more. That must be really hard to endure. I truly hope he changes so that parenting isn't simply a one way street. Just continue to do the best that you can love..I mean that's all you can do🙏❤
“How can you take the time to learn everything else but you can’t take the time , like I have , to get to know our daughter. Enough with the excuses. Start taking initiative to get to know your baby because you’d be better at it if you actually tried. ”
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
What I would do is be like ok since you say "I'm better at it" or "I'm not as good as you are"...let's get you more practice. We're going to start taking turns for it all.
When our youngest was born and he(husband) was not working we literally took turns with whatever she needed. If I did a feeding the next cry was a diaper change the next cry for a nap etc. didn't matter we just got up and did it. Simple as your turn honey. There was NOT going to be a "it's all on you" thing..no ma'am
