I feel silly asking since this is my 3rd pregnancy but it has been almost 5 years so it's all gotten kind of fuzzy.
I am 17 weeks pregnant and so far I have had 3 ultrasounds ( all before i heard the baby's heartbeat) and I just heard the heartbeat for the first time at my visit last week. I am scheduled for an anatomy scan on the 23rd of this month. I have only actually seen my OB twice and they havent done any belly measurements or any tests besides the regular urine sample and a blood test at my intake appointment almost 2 months ago. I feel like I had way more testing by this point in my last 2 pregnancies. Is this normal? #myfirstpost

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Unless you're showing signs and symptoms of issues you shouldn't have had any other testing yet. They do the glucose test towards the end if the 2nd trimester. 3 ultrasounds already is alot. Every doctor is different and every office has a different way they dk things for their pregnant patients. My doctor will only do 2 ultrasounds in a healthy pregnancy without complications.
