If something is deleted it’s because I felt it was unnecessary. This isn’t about if being gay is right or wrong. The being gay is bullshit comment was deleted and I’m guessing the comments that went with it.

The post wasn’t about LGBTQ it was about gender reveals. I didn’t agree with the list saying moms who do it are gross.
@nerdymommyplus2, I don’t care about the picture only the post itself. Which was about gender reveals it could of been a pic of anything for all I care.

I think the reason why people are saying something about the LGBTQ community is because of the pic. It's obviously using a picture of either a transgender person or non binary person.
The LGBTQ community doesn't have anything to do with it. Ive seen in multiple mom groups about how gender reveals are silly and not needed

I think the original post is misguided in general. I personally agree that gender reveals (more accurately, sex reveals) are unnecessary/frivolous, but that doesn't mean that the parent is "basing the child's life around their sex". The original poster is reading waaaaay too much into a simple celebration, IMO. One of the first things people ask when you announce your pregnancy is if it's a boy or a girl - are all of those people "gross" as well for wondering?

Exactly!! There are parents who do base the child's entire life around their sex but the sex reveal party has nothing to do with that. The real problem is gender roles. Parents expecting their girls to do certain things the boys can't, and vice versa. Or parents disapproving transitioning because they don't comprehend the importance of gender identity and sex. The pregnancy and gender reveal kind of went hand in hand for me

I know plenty of members of the LGBTQ community who don’t agree with this at all. This is just stupid people with stupid views. The post it’s self is stupid as hell. I never had a gender reveal because I’m not patient enough lol. I don’t think they are silly just not for everyone.

Having an intense debate on Facebook about school fees for public school. I'm in the "stop whining about school fees and stop having kids if you can't afford them" camp and there is the other camp of "free school is a constitutional right! It's bull s*** we have to pay anything at all".
