After I got the epidural I didn't feel a damn thing. I'd feel a tightening on my stomach and that's how I'd know i was having the contractions.
Contractions are the worst .. I didn’t get an epidural tho .. contraction was worse than me pushing her out .. Also won’t be getting epidural this time
Mine weren’t bad at all once I got the epidural, now I ended up having a c-section and the damn thing wore off in the middle of my c-section and I felt EVERYTHING.
Same but my contractions were pretty bad. !!
But My c section was worse than contractions tbh. I was crying &' screaming the whole time. &' remember telling my doctor to be careful because I was hurting &' felt everything he was doing.
I would say a 10 but I’ve had both of my kids med free. The only thing I’ve ever felt worse than contractions and birth is a gallbladder attack. I legit would rather go through labor and delivery a million times over than experience a gallbladder attack.
10. Especially if you’re induced.... with my first everything moved so fast, I say a 7. But with my second I was induced so yeaah the waiting and being tired is a drag
@boymommy19 I got the epidural with my 1st before I felt them really, with my 2nd, I was induced, u waited too long to get the epidural & it was awful. lol the epidural is a lifesaver.
10. I would've fought someone for my epidural. The epidural is a mosquito bite lol. Kidney stones are not comparable.
@boymommy19 Honestly though, it doesn't last and it's beyond worth it! You just have to keep reminding yourself this is the last part and your body will do the work. Practice your breath work and embrace the pain for the time you have it. The more you fight it and the less you breathe the worse it is. If you choose to have an epidural it was a godsend for me and I was up and walking within two hours.
@madhatter, it’s so many risks with the epidural though that’s why I’m freaking out
@boymommy19 Just keep in mind when you're in that much pain it's okay to change whatever your birth plan may be! There are a lot of risks and not everyone has the experience I had. As long as you mentally prepare this is what our bodies are meant to do and women go natural all the time. Women are superheroes.
I got to the hospital at 5cm in so much pain i could not take it, got the epidural and did not feel a thing after, I'm getting one again hoping for the same result
