So me and my husband have 2 boys already and we really want to try again for a girl but we are scared that we may have a boy. Don’t get me wrong I will love my child regardless of gender and pray that I have a healthy baby. But is it shamed upon or wrong for even considering going through gender selection which is part of the IVF process? I conceived my two kids fine naturally but we are willing to go through the process for a girl. No I’m not trying to play God but we will be done having kids after this PLEASE FEEL FREE TO COMMENT YOUR RESPECTFUL OPINION
I’m glad you all are ok ....I want a healthy baby overall of course I’ll choose that anyway over gender but since technology is so amazing these days I don’t mind trying to increase my odds of having a girl , thank you
Have you looked into adoption? With agencies you can pick genders. My fiance and I planned to do this if we have a girl. We want at least one boy.
I wouldn’t mind adoption if I couldn’t have kids
Me and my husband have actually talked about doing this next time for a boy. After four we would be 100% done so it would be amazing to have a boy. I don’t see anything wrong with doing that if you can afford it.
@goodvibetribe, yes because boys get hard headed
It's your decision. I wish u luck with whatever u decide and hope either baby is healthy.
If you can afford it go for it. Personally I wouldn’t. Pregnancy and babies are crazy expensive then adding and even more crazy procedure just get a specific gender I just wouldn’t do it.
@kyenkenmom, so I asked my fiancé if he would be down to do this for a boy and he said he would aha but he also really wants a boy. Don’t let anything stop you if that’s what you want 🥰
@taylorsmommy, thank you and That’s how I feel about s girl lol
It's not wrong, You have two healthy boys and you want a girl there's nothing wrong about that, Do whatever you feel you need to do to have your little girl. And if it's a boy and you're upset it'll pass, I had three boys before my girl and I was upset with middle and youngest boys but it eventually went away and now I wouldn't trade them.
Thank you lol I just dont want to have more than 3 kids
@kyenkenmom I didn't either 🤦🏼♀️ My daughter was a huge surprise.
It is but not too expensive if that makes sense, depending on how many embryos you want
@kyenkenmom just curious how much it is? This is the first I've ever heard of this
@massgirl, depending on which facility you go through and the number of embryos you get but I seen one for around 4500 with 1-2 embryos
I think if u got the money for it then Yes go for it my favorite youtubers did gender selection through Ivf for a girl after having 2 boys.. me personally I’m happy with what god gives me whether I’d be girl only mom or boy only mom but a lot of people go through the process

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Trying to get a breast pump through my insurance feels about impossible 😣
United health care is awful. I have a prescription for a pump, but they're seriously making me jump through hoops. My insurance will cover a non medical gender test no questions asked, but try and order a pump to feed my kid, and they act like I'm asking for $10,000!!
I'm determined to get this pump for free. If not, guess we will have no choice but to buy one 😡
have any of you had a gut feeling about the gender of your baby and we're right, or were wrong. my hubby and I were trying for a girl and I feel like it turned out to be another boy. the wait is killing me now cause I want to know if I'm going to be a total boy mom!!
I will tell you this I have 3 boys and my son’s are very spaced out in ages with my 2 Nd son I kind of had a urge to want a girl but,had a son and planned my last baby at age 37 yrs old I was 4month’s pregnant when I was in car accident that Totaled my car on scene and was rushed to the ER at that moment I no longer cared to have a girl knowing I had 2 healthy grown son’s , As my car spun into the other lane I can see my son’s faces in mind and all my 12 airbags deployed I hit my head as well when I awoke I was wondering what happened to my baby as the ultrasound sound tech saw the baby was Alive, healthy and I didn’t tear apart my uterus and hemorrhage from the looks of my car accident was very possible so I’m grateful for my 3rd son I no longer crave a daughter and just felt completed by my last son in my heart,I am 1 of 3 girls and my 2 sisters since very early on don’t get along “proud boy mom “ wish u well
