Is it normal to spot & still be sore from a group B test & cervix check from this morning?

they shouldn't even be doing them before your test results 🙄

@kambam my ob suggested to do it because the pains I was describing to her made her think i was dilating

@stacybear1991 thats a special case, of course. wouldn't suggest it out of medical necessity

from a cervix check yes. and you don't have to have those if you dont want them. the strep test is just a harmless swab though

The swab was more painful than the cervix check.

@jessie.drury1230 the swab hurts more because it's not done delicately. The ob literally poked/swirled it so fast then she wiped it hard over my butt hole. The cervix check is done way more gentle but yes it can cause bleeding and some cramps or uncomfortable feeling
