Here's her bio and general tips: Hello I am Ceiamaria I am a stay at home Mother to 4 children ages 12,8,7 and 11 months old. I am happily married for 12 years and we are still going strong. I am determined and driven for success FAILURE isn't an option for me. I potty trained my oldest at 9 months old. My 2 middle son's were more difficult they were between 18 months and 2 years old. My baby boy was showing interest in potty training, I decided to buy him a potty chair. Potty training tips 1.) Don't rush your child 2.)Don't yell at your child 3.) Don't punish your child for having accidents 4.) Don't give you child candy 5.) Don't compare other children to your child 6.) Do praise your child 7.) Clap your hands when your child goes to the potty. 8.)Take your child every 15-30 minutes to the potty 9.)Don't criticize your child 10.) I don't recommend pull ups but I don't bash mothers who decided to use them. 11.) Remember potty training is not taught in one day you have to be determined to potty train your child. Just got my one month old to pee AND poop in the potty ☺ #godiaperfree
Y’all I’m so happy my son pooped on the potty today

Put her straight into underwear and only use pull-ups at bedtime. She will learn faster if she feels wet. Pull-ups are just like diapers. Use a reward system. We did stickers for pee and candy for poop.

Awesome!! I have a sticker chart and undies being delivered tomorrow!!!

That would be good :) but from what I learned when they feel that they have nothing there for the pee or poop to go in idk I tried that and other things. My aunt mentioned the no diaper bare thing
Kayla ··
Well for the last hour she’s been running around naked lol but hasn’t went yet haha

Bribes!!! My girl child responded so well to receiving a chocolate chip every time she peed in the potty the first week. Then we moved changed it to once a day, if she didn't have any accidents that day, she got a cookie after dinner. Then..... after another week, only when she pooped in the potty did she get a treat. And then we graduated to the big potty. That was also rewarded at first. And once she got the hang of it, the treats stopped. And she just kept on her big girl potty journey lol.
I fear this will be so different with my son.. As he is sooo hard headed. But right now, doesn't understand using the potty yet. So he will be much later than my girl was. But in his time, when he is ready!
Kayla ··
I’m trying the bribes lol. I told her if she goes she gets some chocolate. She was making noise like she went pee and said okay chocolate. Lmao smart little brat lol

it worked for us, fingers crossed for you!!
Kayla ··
@mississippi.queen, lol thank you

No pull-ups (unless at bedtime). You’ll just have to train her off of those later. It’s a step you don’t need. I found that they wick away moisture wayyy too quickly. Just like diapers. I found that when she’d pee in her “big girl underwears” they’d stay wet and she didn’t like that feeling. So, she’d rather go in the big potty than feel that feeling again. The first 3 accidents, I’d slowly take her to the potty. I wouldn’t rush. That way she’d realize she hated that feeling, haha.
Kayla ··
Did you get the potty training underwear or just regular ones?
jenna tess··
just regular ones. She didn’t af about picking them out herself - a lot of kids do though!.
Kayla ··
lmao. I’ll have to get her some. All she wants to do is play on her potty

She was fully potty trained a couple of months before her 2nd birthday.
Kayla ··
Oh that’s a really good idea. She loves stickers too.
Griselda Galindo ··
that worked for us. She never had an accident because she wanted to fill up the chart. As soon as she felt something she ran to the bathroom 🚽
Kayla ··
lol. I just ordered a sticker chart from amazon. Lol
Griselda Galindo ·
I made a pee pee chart🤣🤣🤣 every time she went pee in the potty I would put a sticker. Once her chart was full she got to pick a price from the treasure box (filled with $1 items from the target dollar spot)

Ingeniously 👍

Yeah just keep at it :) either that or try taking off the pill up and have her nakey bottom down and show her that when she needs to pee or something to go there she won't get it right away but its something
Kayla ··
Yeah I want to get rid of the pull ups. I want to get her some potty training underwear
Kayla ·
@hilligermomx2, @mommydiaz0505, I sat her on it but she didn’t go. I think she had just gone in her pull up. So we’re gonna try again in about 15 minutes.
Amber ··
She’ll get it in no time 🤞

My son was the same idk if it's the same for boys as it is for training girls but my son took a while and he loved using the potty but wouldn't just run straight to it.
Amber ·
Aww how exciting.
I pulled ours out today too. It’s kinda early but my son sat on it & seemed a little bit interested.
