I’m so tired of being in and out of the hospital. My bp is still staying super high even with my meds. I got told to go to the ER Friday evening bc my pressures was 151/111. So I went got admitted and the on call dr put me through so much crap. I was having regular contractions but was slowly changing so she stopped them by doubling my bp meds “which come to find out make my heart race” then gave me meds to make my heart stop racing, then gave me some mag which is aweful all of that made my blood pressure bottom out which then I was feeling like pure crap but after all these meds wore off my blood pressure shot right back up to the 150s/100. Then has me do CT scan of my chest and ultrasound of my heart bc she didn’t understand why all this was happening bc I’m not pre-e.... ITS BECAUSE MY BODY IS HAVING A HARD TIME KEEPING UP WITH MY PREGNANCY NOW. After all of this I was sent home on complete bed rest which is what I’m already on. I have a drs appt tomorrow so I’m hoping something will get done this week if not I know for sure I’m having this little girl next week. I’m just so tired, sore and worn out and ready to have this little girl. Regardless I don’t have much longer!

Yes mam they do them every appt and an ultrasound to check my fluid levels. They put me on meds to try and control it but it’s not working. Did you feel like crap all the time from your bp being up?
@girlmom1519, yes the meds stopped working for me too. I did feel like crap and had headaches often from it. They were doing to induce me bc of it.
@massmomma16, oh okay! My nurse told me Friday when I talked to her that plans may change since mine isn’t controlled. I’m scheduled to have her next Wednesday anyways.
Preeclampsia can come out of nowwhere hun. Just keep an eye in it and the symptoms
You should get a 2nd opinion, 1 of the signs of preeclampsia is elevated BP. My friend literally just LOSS her child bc she kept putting the symptoms off. Hope you feel better!
Did she have high bp for awhile and protein in her urine? All bc I don’t have protein in my urine they’re saying I don’t have pre-e but it’s really making me nervous bc its not getting any better
She was suffering from swelling for sure, the high BP didnt really come til the end of her pregnancy bc she has 3 other kids. She always had her kids early so this one came early as well. And they didnt detect the protein either smh. She just was scared to tell her Dr she was having pain and swelling and come to find out that's what it was but it was too late to treat it. Baby was already heavily affected😞
Be careful with that. I took my sister to the er with high blood pressure when she was 29 weeks, they tested for pre eclampsia (there is not a specific test for it, they test several different things and make a decision that way) they said she didn’t have it. I took her home and the next day she was still having symptoms, I checked her blood pressure it was high and she was swelled up bad. Took her back to the hospital and she had severe pre eclampsia. It can escalate quickly! Take care of yourself! ❤️
All bc I don’t have high protein in my urine they’re ruling that out. Obviously something is wrong since it’s not controlled. It’s just exhausting! Thank you!
@girlmom1519, yeah your symptoms are worrisome! My sister didn’t either, id get a second opinion!
You need to get a 2nd opinion & find a doctor that can help you get it all under control. Make sure you pay close attention to your symptoms even after your baby is born. You may end up with postpartum Cardiomyopathy with all these issues, you should Google the symptoms so you know what to watch out for. Uncontrolled high blood pressure puts a big strain on your heart and might cause more serious issues if it hasn't already. I'm so sorry you're goin through all this with your pregnancy & I pray you can get it all under control. Do not be afraid to see multiple doctors for another opinion.

I had high BP and never had PreE. I was put on bedrest at 35w and water broke at 38. Have they been doing NSTs?
