So I went to apply for assistance and the worker sucked and said it will take 30 days but they are still including my bf income!? I asked for emergency services and didn’t get approved 😭Wtf the system is a fucking joke! She said to go back on the 27th to re apply 😑🙄🙄🖕🏻

What’s the point of having this crap if they don’t help people who actually need it! I

Told her I only have 600 dollars left on my unemployment and it’s over this month she said I make enough okay sure a family of 4 will survive on 600 dollars for

@justmeee, I’m sorry you’re experiencing this 😢 But definitely don’t listen to the previous poster’s advice. You want to do everything legally. If you’re struggling with the worker you have assigned, you may want to ask if you can get a new worker or some help from the supervisor. Good luck hun 💜

If I was you I would have put down only your income. To help out getting temp assistance. From what unknown it's not like they gonna come to your house and see who all living there. That's how I was told since I am not married. I filled my stuff out online. It also said it takes up to 30 days for processing! Some folks have better chances getting emergency help from non profit organizations vs gov.

That’s actually fraudulent. Anyone who is living in your household and brings in income is supposed to be included.

Are you both receiving unemployment? That would contribute toward the household “income” since it’s money coming in to the household. And yes, they do include a boyfriend’s income if you’re living together.

When I explained that no one had told me to do that then she changed her tone as if she was doing me a favor🖕🏻. So had to book an appointment for tomorrow. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing.
