How old was your little one when talking them to the pool or beach for the first time? My son loves to bathe and my daughter loves to play in the water. But I feel he’s too small. With my first I didn’t take her until after her first year.. 💦 ☀️ 🏖

I took ours to the pool at 3-4 months, but only let him stay outside for 20 minutes. He wore a long sleeved swim top and a big hat to try and protect his skin.

You mean outside in the pool? because the pools nearby have small shades to keep him protected.. And what are some precautions you took or tips you recommend.. anything will help ☺️

@noemiix33 We weren't near any trees or shade so I only let him be outside completely for 20 minutes. Lol Probably overprotective, but he's our first so I was scared of him getting sunburn. Only tip I have is make sure he has a hat of some type on. Their heads burn sooo fast even if they have hair.

awesome, thank you... I am also very overprotective LOL but I know for sure I won’t be able to only stay out for 20 mins cause of my daughter.. I think he’ll do fine in the shade or under an umbrella ☂

I'm taking my daughter to the pool for the 2nd time, Sunday. shes 7 months. :) I don't think it's too young to be honest.

I was taking my daughter out swimming as soon as the weather was nice enough, she was 4-5 months

Just try to stay in shade with him as much as possible, or bring and umbrella or little tent to put him under, sun hat, and I used sunscreen on my daughter, I just didn’t put it in her hands or feet.

To the pool close to a year. Our local pool only allows babies 6 months and older.
