What the heck to do when my 18 month old just screams at the top of her lungs over EVERYTHING!!!!! Take too long to get her snack, her hand slips from my finger while walking, not picking her up as soon as she asks. It's the point where she screams and flings her body wherever she is. She just smashed her face on the play pen and caused an instant bruise and bump cus I put her down for a minute to pick up the baby. No matter what the situation is she does this about 10x a day and it's getting super super stressful. She even does it in the stores or grocery shopping and it's honestly just so embarrassing and she's flinging her whole body and head around in the stroller or even the shopping cart seat. It's a deep deep screech that's ear piercing.
Sorry about the long rant but my steam engine is about to blow

Maybe it's from the new baby?
I remeber my oldest was like that when I had my second and then when I had my third my second was like that. They would scream and lash out. And finally after a few months it kinda calmed down slowly. It's super frustrating but I think it might be because shes jealous and trying to get all your attention and even if it means being bad and acting out that's all she wants. Maybe not the case but thats what I noticed with my situation. Hopefully she gets out of it soon though because it's super tough especially with a little baby. Good luck girl!

Thanks momma. And yes I think it started after the new baby. But even if the baby is sleeping and I'm not around him she still throws these fits. I do think it has something to do with the baby as well. How did you handle the situation when that happened? I tell her enough and I sit her down on the couch and she usually calms within 30 seconds and asks for her bubba

I did the exact same! And also when baby is napping try to keep her busy like blow bubbles with her or color with her. If I could also get my boyfriend to watch the baby for a bit I'd take her to the park or do something with just you two and that seemed to help and slowly it went away I noticed that help alot with my first daughter so I did the exact same thing when I had my third baby and it wasnt as bad. Just try to spend time with her just the 2 of you and see if that helps! It was super frustrating at first tho I didnt even know what to do and my mom gave me the suggestion and it worked after about 2 or 3 months.
