maybe look into some sort of toy or comfort item that can replace you and set boundaries like "when mom is on the couch its cuddle time"
my son has sensory issues so he's always on me lol

He seems to have some sensory issues as well. I've tried..he won't attach himself to anything other than me and touching my hair

my OT suggested things like compression clothing and sensory body sack. maybe he would like a doll with hair? or playing with a tub full of dry beans, rice, beads etc? my son likes to squeeze playdough. I dunno just some ideas. but I know what youre going through.

My oldest does. He was also in foster care for two years though. He’s always used me for his comfort person since he was little. He’s a complete mommy’s boy which I don’t mind at all because it’s not always going to be like this.
