If you've already submitted the paperwork then no. You'll have to change it through the courts.

no. It will already be processed at that point. I would ask what the process but usually you have to go through the courts and seek permission from the other parent.

Once you’ve turned in to the hospital no you can’t change it you will have to do it through the courts it’s around $120 now with out the other parent depends is father around are you married did he sign the BC do you have protective order?

If you already sent in the paperwork it’s too late you’ll need to change it after you get it. I know if his name is on the birth certificate I’m almost positive you need his permission to change it but if not then I believe if the child is under 6 months old it’s free to change it.
