I need advice
My room mate wants to have her bestfriend who actually is her ex husband move in. She would even pay a little more since there are 2 of them. I talked to her about it and when my daughters dad got home from work i told him what she said and was wanting to do. He doesn't like the idea and says if he moves in hes moving out. They have a seperate ara then the house. I don't know what to do. Because i feel awkward and it doesn't feel like a good idea to say no even though im ok with it and make a decision like that because if something were to happen to us like our relationship, then what. I cant live here supporting myself and 3 young kids as well as house obligations. I wouldn't be able to afford that. I did before he moved in. I only had my oldest and 2 room mates in which one helped with half of the bills. But now ive got one. My mortgage has gone up and 3 kids.. Just last week we supposedly werent together. 4x in one week. It keeps going back and fourth and so does the feeling that we wont last. That feeling is incredibly strong.. Our relationship if anything has moved backwards not foreword for the last 2 years and the year before that i didnt feel as if it was moving but standing still. Is it wrong of me to be thinking realistically and looking out.

I would tell my friend no, bc it would complicate my relationship. Even if her ex move in, they could both move out as well. And you’ll have no help. Just my opinion.
