Who Has Gotten Their Tubes Tied? Did your doctor make u wait 6 weeks after having your baby ? How long did it take u to heal?

I did it 2 hours after my daughter was born. It’s been hell for me. My periods are longer and way heavier. The pain is really intense and unbearable some days. I now also have a period 2x a month. And my hormones are outta whack and if they get lower I have to start taking supplements or I could go into early menopause.
Just definitely look into everything before you make a final decision!!
@ladyfreyja, yeah I really wish I’d researched more about it before I did it! My periods weren’t too bad until I got the ParaGuard IUD and that made them hell and after 4 years of putting up with it anyways I still ended up pregnant so I didn’t want to chance anything again and rushed into it.
@autumnrenea1990, that would probably be better. I would research all of your options.
I had mine removed. I waited til I was healed to do it. But I was up and walking later that day.

I had mines removed. I had to wait 3 months because of health issues but my recovery wasn’t bad. My periods are not bad either after everything.
