My ex husband tried for 50/50 to lower his child support. He ended up with split summer and alternating holidays. This was when my daughter was around 6 months old. He never exercised his visitation though because the cost to travel is too high he says ,🙄

@massgirl, see I’m about to take my 8 month olds daughter’s dad to court. I’m in TN and he lives in SC. It’s over a 4 hour drive one way and I was honestly just curious if he could get 50/50, the lawyer says he don’t see it happening but who knows.

@micgennyy yeah I doubt it. Children need to have a routine and stability until they get older. I would offer summer and alternating holidays and see what he comes back with. Interstate 50/50 is going to be very hard with a 4+ hour drive
