I give my children one on one time which is the time to communicate whatever that want and understand that the have freedom to express their emotions. This is very important to me because i get to understand what’s going on with them and give them that emotional support and love. My son be 13 in November he’s mostly happy kid but he do sometimes feels upset and we talk. I will give him advice or have he father or my father talk to him ( sometime it be men stuff).
So give a moment to sit down with him and talk to him listen to what’s the issue is and you both come up with a solution that works for him.

@anicole3285, have you ever thought about professional help? Sometimes children could have things bothering them that they don’t feel comfortable talking about it to their parents?
How long this been going on?
Do he go over people house and stay the night?

ohhh now it make since. So sometimes a child with ADHD can develop anxiety and depression; this is common. He going have difficulties with socializing. Relationship with parents, siblings, and peers can be an obstacle. Talk to his therapist about this behavior. Don’t want it to develop into something bigger
