Anyone had issues with amoxicillin reactions ? Like severe diarrhea or vomiting ?

Thanks for the info ! My daughter didn’t have these reactions so I’m thinking it just upset her stomach and she isn’t allergic. I stopped the meds anyway bc it freaked me out

I’m allergic to amoxicillin and penicillin, it makes my air way close and I get hives all over my body makes my asthma act up really bad

One and it’s done it to me as well and I’m not allergic to it either.

Antibiotics can give you diarrhea as a side effect because they are killing off bacteria, including your good gut bacteria. The vomiting I’m not so sure of...I would check out the information handout they give you from the pharmacy regarding side effects, and probably call your doctor too.
