I agree with the others. Except for knives, everything goes handle down. I feel that the nasty stuff will follow gravity and not actually get cleaned. Or if it’s too compact in there and things aren’t cleaned properly since it can’t be reached 360•. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I always put knives handle up and everything else handle down. But, I understand your outrage. Any little change to my dishwasher set up gives me anxiety.
