Morning ladies ,
Has anyone used castor oil
Or made the midwifes brew to enduce labour?
And if so how far gone was you ,
I'm thinking about trying it at 38 weeks x

Castor Oil can be very dangerous for you and baby. Not something I’d recommend at all.

What everyone else said, castor oil can be so dangerous especially for baby. Please don't try it.

Don’t do it!
What everyone else has said you don’t have long left and I honestly wouldn’t risk yours or your babies health

Much safer things you could try are:
Going for walks
Spicy foods (with both my girls, my waters broke the night hubby made chilli con carne)
Eating fresh pineapple
Sex & nipple stimulation
Bouncing and rolling on a ball
There's no guarantee any of these will get things going before baby's ready, but they pass the time and won't hurt you or baby. I ate chilli throughout both my pregnancies and my waters only broke once I reached 40 weeks.

IV got my sweep in 2 weeks at 38+5 weeks , but just wanted to go into labour naturally so I didn't have to go for my sweep x
Sara-Louise·
You don't have to have a sweep. I didn't for either of my pregnancies x

They said would be better to have the sweep so I don't go past 39 weeks due to my PGP and sickle cell ,if the sweep don't work then IL be induced , but was hoping I'd go into labor natually by the time I was 38 weeks but not sure if that's gonna happen xx@sara-lou86
