Good morning so my little one is going to be 2 months this month, we got invited to a birthday party that is at an indoor aquatic center
What are your ladies opinions on taking him swimming should he be okay or should I not take him swimming
I was told by 2 nurses that it would be okay but then I was told by another that I should wait ....

I personally say no. Hasn’t had 2 month shots. And pools can have e Coli. 💩

Oh yeah i didnt think about that either. Another good reason. He is still basically a newborn.

I would wait personally. Not sure how he would react to the chlorine or the temp of the water being that new.

@julesschade, How about just the little sprinkler area? @justgotaname,

Someone on here shared a story the other day about how their child got E. coli from a splash pad. She was trying to make people aware of this issue. Do not set the baby down at all.

So if I’m holding baby he should be okay ? Just hate to miss my friends Childs first birthday and don’t have a babysitter @justgotaname,

im not sure an almost 2 month old would like a sprinkler on him or his face. Hes still quite new out of the womb. He could catch a cold very easily and get sick. I understand you dont wanna miss the party, but that environment at this time is just not safe for a baby that small yet. My opinion of course, i just remember when mine was that small. She was so delicate. I'm sure your friend would understand that you have to look out for the safety of your baby first. Good luck.
