I had my baby premature yesterday, 30 weeks and 6 days. My local hospital doesn’t have a nicu so they rushed him away after he was born.
Any preemie moms? How long was the nicu stay? Elijah is breathing on his own which I think is amazing. I just wanna know what I’m in for.

My son was born at 30 weeks 5 days he was 3lbs 4oz at birth he stayed in the nicu for 6 weeks...it was a roller coaster ride but he was worth every second ...take it day by day momma good luck and lots of prayers

NICU mom here. My baby was born at 35 weeks 5 day. My water broke. He was born not breathing. He was rushed right away and air lifted over an hour away from us. We barely got to see him before they rushed him off and didn’t see him again till I was released and we got to the hospital he was at. He was in there for a month. If you need anyone to talk to I’m here. It can be so scary and stressful. Nothing can prepare you for sitting there praying and watching your baby fight! I’ll keep y’all in my prayers!

Had twins at 32 weeks 2 days. They stayed in the hospital for 59 and 63 days. 1 was breathing on her own the other was not for the first week. Baby is in good hands, ask lots of questions and ask them to explain anything you dont understand. It can be a rollercoaster of emotions, but seeing how strong your precious babe is so amazing. Prayers❤

my cousins GF had hers at 30 weeks. her baby was 3 pounds. she was breathing on her own too. she had to stay in the NICU for a couple of months!

My babies are currently in nicu. It’s def not easy at all. The great things is your baby is breathing in his own so you’re pretty much winning half the battle already. Your baby is in good hands just make sure you stay on top of doctors and always have questions

I guess everyone is different with different pain tolerance because my recovery for my c section was a breeze I never filled the medications they gave me and was walking down to the NICU to see my son the next day
if my babies are born between now(33 weeks) and 36 weeks and I'm having a c section and they have to go to the nicu do i get time with them at all or not until i am able to go to the nicu?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
I’m at a 1 1/5 if I dilate anymore within the next 3 hours I am being transferred to Odessa Tx because our my hospital doesn’t have a NICU.

My oldest sister was born when my mom was 7months pregnant weighing 1 pound and a half ! Stay positive and get some rest also he’s a strong little boy best of wishes
