Anybody got any positive vbac stories? I have been told I am able to attempt a vaginal birth this time round but getting really paranoid about it as I had an awful labour with my first. Any advice would be massively appreciated x

Me I had a emergency c section and have had two vaginal births since. I was in labour with my son for 17hours ended getting pre eclampsia and with my second I don’t know what was different but I managed a successful vbac I was a lot more calmer that time around the only difference was I had a epidural with my son and with my two vbacs I only used gas and air. I don’t know whether that helps at all. I bounced on my birthing ball a few weeks before my due date and while I was having contractions with my two vbacs I don’t know whether that helped to dilate or anything xx

I don't want this to come across rude but what age was your first born when you had the vbac with your second. I am a little worried about my son only being 18 months old and don't know if that will affect it xxx

1year and 9months to be exact. They say a year after a c section everything is fine to be able to have a vbac xx

I got my vbac! I was told my chances would be slim and was basically told I'd end up with another section but nope had her at 40+3 was in slow labour for 3 days had a sweep and stayed at home till I was 10cm (had no clue 🤦♀️) rushed into hospital and had her 30 mins later I had to be cut but if rather that than the section they were pushing me for. Was an amazing experience only had gas and air xx
