Admitted and just had my epidural placed. Thank god for epidurals. 🙏🏻 I can't wait to meet my smush!!! 😍😭

She was born at 8:17 and weighs in 8lbs 13oz. 22 inches long. And she's just perfect! I only pushed for about 30 minutes and she was here. That cry is the best sound I've ever heard. 😍😭
I'm beyond excited. Thank you all for all the support and well wishes. We seriously couldn't be more in love. And I have all you ladies to thank for helping me be brave enough to make it through this because growing a human is hard scary work!

Birth Plan Rant
I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
Water Birth or hospital bed? Natural or epidural? When to do the epidural before it's too late ? To have my mom and mother in law in the room or just my man and I?? Ugghh help?!!
